Get over politics-Cranes coach

Uganda Cranes Scottish coach Bob Williamson has challenged the East African countries to separate politics from sport if they have to compete at the highest level
"This is the only way. But what we see is, after every year there’s something coming up.

You cannot perform at the high level if you’re always involved in politics,” Williamson said after his team beat Kenya 1-0 in the quarterfinal.

He made the remarks in reaction to a scuffle that erupted between a handful of Ugandan fans and their Kenyan counterparts over the controversial issue of Migingo Island, which almost took the two countries to war.
