Members of the Rwanda Volleyball Federation (FRVB) on Saturday, September 20, re-elected Raphaël Ngarambe to stay in office as federation president for another four-year term until 2029.
Ngarambe, who was running for the role unopposed, garnered all 33 votes from federation members during the election which took place during the federation general assembly at Hill Top Hotel, Kigali.
"This means a lot to our federation members. Being re-elected shows the need for continuity, which I will ensure by preserving our achievements,” Ngarambe said following his victory.
Ngarambe—who first assumed office in 2021—will serve his final term as per the federation’s governance laws which allows him to run for two terms.
