The developing world unlike the industralised countries have been victim to the effects of global warming for decades even without partaking in its creation. Despite the various challenges that the globe faces in this grave environmental issue, realistic and fair solutions should be arrived at. Gone are the days when key international policy makers decided on behalf of the developing world.

As the climate change conference nears, leaders in the developing world need to represent. The developing world unlike the industralised countries have been victim to the effects of global warming for decades even without partaking in its creation.
Despite the various challenges that the globe faces in this grave environmental issue, realistic and fair solutions should be arrived at. Gone are the days when key international policy makers decided on behalf of the developing world.
The danger in this was that the policies approved only interests of the industralised world while ignored those of the developing world.
As a result, a bigger problem was birthed and is proving to be difficult to contain. The use of Carbon Credits should be strongly advocated for and taken seriously if Africans are to carry the burden they did not create.
After all global warming, and climate change issues affect everyone equally.
