Silverbacks psyched up for CAR-10s tourney

AFTER spirited performances in the Hima-Mak10s and the just ended Prinsloo Nakuru 7s in Kenya, Rwanda’s national rugby team -the Silverbacks is now gearing up for the Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) 10s. Although the exact dates are not yet known, Silverbacks will play Burundi home and away as they seek to defend their Super 16 crown.

AFTER spirited performances in the Hima-Mak10s and the just ended Prinsloo Nakuru 7s in Kenya, Rwanda’s national rugby team -the Silverbacks is now gearing up for the Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) 10s.

Although the exact dates are not yet known, Silverbacks will play Burundi home and away as they seek to defend their Super 16 crown.

"We are getting back to the drawing board for the CAR 10s. We are not taking it lightly because we want to play well and get to the next stage,” Silverbacks stand-in Coach Gerard Nsenga said.

In Uganda, Silverbacks reached the finals of the Bowl category. The team  repeated the feat in the Nakuru 7s.
