Karekezi named in All-Star team

ONE of Rwanda’s most celebrated football stars Olivier Karekezi has been named in an All-Star side that will tour Uganda next week. The team, which flies to Uganda on December 10, will play against a Uganda select side on December 11 at Nakivubo stadium.

ONE of Rwanda’s most celebrated football stars Olivier Karekezi has been named in an All-Star side that will tour Uganda next week.

The team, which flies to Uganda on December 10, will play against a Uganda select side on December 11 at Nakivubo stadium.

The team’s entourage will have Patrick Mboma, Francois Omam Biyick, his brother Andre Kana Biyick, Cyril Makanaky, Pius Ndiefi and Emmanuel Maboang Kessack.

Mboma’s team is coming under Association of Cameroonian Sportsmen.

The west Africans will be joined by East Africa’s former greats including Edibily Lunyamila, Suleiman Madaraka (Tanzania), Kenyan duo of Tony Lwanga and Henry Mutego and Rwanda’s own ‘Karekezi’.

While in Uganda, the stars will get involved in different activities.
