When the wrong one loves you right

Much has been said and done about love but certain things would not pass by unnoticed. When that guy you have no chemistry for at all seems to do it right and yet you have no way of telling him to go away. You actually seem to enjoy his gifts but when you get deep inside your heart you do not feel him not even for a single minute.

I first heard about this in a song by Celline Dion and it did not make too much sense then but since this guy came into my life the song has gained great meaning.

There is this guy Steven I met at a friend’s birthday party. He seemed to be lonely all night through. I wanted to be good company to him for the rest of the party and he gladly accepted.

Little did I know that he had actually been invited by my friend. Call it match-making.

Trust me, it was not chemistry that made me talk to him. I just thought he needed to be given a fit in atmosphere since the person that had invited him was at the centre stage and had no time for him at all.

The evening went well I must say he occupied me as well as I did and to him I seem the best match.

Steven has done everything for me so well. At one time I wanted him to sell out what he felt for me so I could spill the beans to him but he does not say anything apart from calling and sounding so good.

He is that person that needs to know all corners your life has taken. He had become part of family to me, mum knows him and accidentally seems to like him but this kills me inside.

I tried giving him updates of my love life to push him off but he does not seem to care so much he gives me this attitude that that guy will go some time.
I was forced to talk to my mother about him and she only says he is a good boy.

When you lose a phone he will be the only one to offer buying you a replacement. He has actually done all that a boyfriend has failed to do.

Steven is such a funny person, he would even offer taking us out with my boyfriend and I sometimes get a feeling he has a problem in his head.

He recently told me how his girlfriend ditched him and got pregnant with some other guy. I wondered if he had ever told this girl about his feelings. It could have been the same case with me where he thinks that things have to be automatic.

Well, could I be delaying the ultimate? The wrong one seems to be doing most of the things right. Dilema!
