FROM THE EDITOR : Get busy

This goes to the holiday makers. You probably have been busy in school and want to just lay back and relax. It’s good to lay back and relax. It’s however always more relaxing and refreshing after being engaged in some productive activity. It could be helping out with house work, in the supermarket, boutique, farm…any constructive activity. You know what’s said about an idle mind being the devil’s workshop? You wouldn’t want the devil to take shop in your mind.

Take part in some sports activities, play soccer, jog, watch basketball, toughen up with some rugby at APE Rugunga, join the church choir.

That way, you won’t have time to pick up bad habits like smoking, taking alcohol or any other stuff that might raise the eyebrows of people around you or even worse put your health and future in danger.

Parents and guardians, support your children in every way you can. Take evening walks together, talk to them and remember that they are in a time when they want to be listened to and not just told what they should or shouldn’t do. This way, they feel they are respected enough and will be more responsible.

Overall, may you all continue enjoying your holidays. The SundayMag should help you in that endeavour.
