Electronic music takes center stage Friday at Mundi Center, where Frequency brings a lineup that blends house, techno and Afro beats. Sets from Munkil, Max Tassan, Mambo Mystique, Ruko and DJ Motari will keep the crowd moving well into the night.
Road to Friends of Amstel – DJ Maphorisa
Amapiano star DJ Maphorisa headlines Kigali Universe this Friday, Sept. 5, on the Road to Friends of Amstel tour.
Expect a charged night as one of South Africa’s biggest exports brings the sound that has traveled the world. Tickets are Rwf30,000 regular (Rwf20,000 early bird), Rwf50,000 VIP (Rwf35,000 early bird), or Rwf250,000 for a table of six. Gates open at 6 p.m.
Bolingo Paccy: Inyeneyeri Pre-Launch
Bolingo Paccy previews his upcoming album Inyeneyeri with a special performance Saturday, Sept. 6, at L’Espace. The evening promises an intimate set for fans of live music. Entry is Rwf5,000 for students and artists, Rwf10,000 regular.
Rwesero Way Festival

Atelier du Vin welcomes amapiano’s Ciza for the second edition of La Onda. Known for his hit "Isaka (6am),” the 24-year-old artist arrives in Kigali at a career peak. Tables of six are Rwf300,000, 10 for Rwf500,000, while individual tickets go for Rwf15,000 in advance or Rwf25,000 at the door. The show begins at 6 p.m.
Lecrae Reconstruction World Tour
Grammy-winning rapper and author Lecrae brings his Reconstruction World Tour to Kigali this Saturday, Sept. 6, at KCEV.
The night blends music and worship with support from Chryso Ndasingwa, See Muzik, Rata Jah and more. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are Rwf15,000 general, Rwf35,000 VIP, and Rwf50,000 with a meet-and-greet.
Kidumu & Chiko Rea Live
Kidumu Kibido and Chiko Rea headline an executive live concert at Copenhagen Lounge on Saturday, Sept. 6. Organized by TriAxis Touch Event, the night promises powerful performances in an intimate setting.
