Speak of emotions, I will tell you they are twins with the human race. Every human without any exceptions has emotions.

Anger, envy, love, hate, happiness, anxiety are all emotions that characterise people And since emotions are part of man, he moves along with them in everything including decision making.

Involving emotions in decision making, has ruined the world’s greatest dreams and dreamers. Any decision made based on emotions is bound to fail.

Many have been badly hurt because they have based on emotions while making critical decisions.

According to the web dictionary, an emotion is a mental and physiological state with a wide variety of feelings, thoughts and behavior.

Emotions are subjective experiences and are experienced from an individual point of view.
And since emotions affect a person’s behavior as well, people yield results basing on the way they guard or fail to guard their emotions.

There was this big time marketer, he would go all miles to get for his company the best customers and he would achieve it. Because of his hard work and zeal, the company owner increased his salary, gave him a posh car and a house.

The marketer continued thriving in his work but a while after, something terrible happened. One of their potential customers claimed he had given him a pay check yet he was lying!

Any normal person, full of emotions would definitely opt for a fight. Well, the marketer followed his emotions of anger, embarrassed the customer and yelled at him.

Meanwhile, if he had chosen professionalism over emotions, he would think twice before screaming. He would settle the case in court with evidence.

Those are emotions; emotions will put you off truck whenever you try to rise. They will show you professional people as your potential enemies.

Emotions will make you take the weakest decision because you don’t want to suffer a lot physically. Emotions will make you employ incompetent staff just because they are your relatives.

When emotions are put first, life ends up a disaster that can never be redeemed.

Warren Buffet, one of the top investors in the world is famous for saying that "emotions should be left out of the investing process.”

He feels that if you are going to be emotional when it comes to making decisions and investing, you should never waste anytime to invest. And why does he feel this way?
The answer is simple. Any decision a human being makes should be based on "logic” not "emotion”.

Decisions based on logic, are often right while decisions based on emotions are wrong; afterall they are never thought through that much before being taken.

Be it marriage, business or opportunities, emotional decisions are bound to fail. Emotional decisions explain why hate prevails with no clear reasons.

An emotional decision will only cater for today, never tomorrow. Emotional decisions usually identify losers, people who are bound to fail in all that they try courtesy of bad decisions.

A computer is almost a perfect decision maker .The reason as to why it’s perfect is because the decisions it makes are 100% based on logic.

The computer is not emotional; it never worries about what others may think.

As we decide, let’s mimic the computer, logical is the way to go. Emotions will only pile up our problems.
