President Paul Kagame on Sunday, August 31, arrived in Dakar, Senegal, where he will attend the Africa Foos Systems Forum.
He was welcomed by his Senegalese counterpart Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
The Africa Food Systems Forum (AFS Forum) is the world&039;s premier forum for African agriculture and food systems that together stakeholders from public and private sectors as well as civil society to deliberate on practical actions and share lessons that will move African food systems forward.
The forum’s last session took place in Kigali in September 2024.
The forum is a multi-sector platform comprising of 28 partners leading in African agriculture all focused on putting farmers at the center of the continent's growing economies.
