Welcome to town Tigo!

Dear Editor, I am excited about having another mobile company in the country. It’s interesting and this will is what I’ve bee waiting for all these years. Tigo comes in, competition steepens and we get better services.

Dear Editor,

I am excited about having another mobile company in the country. It’s interesting and this will is what I’ve bee waiting for all these years. Tigo will complement MTN’s and Rwandatel’s operations in Rwanda.

Tigo has now formed ground to compete with the two companies especially in the price aspect; a trend that will affect reductions in the cost of making calls.

This competition will even make it better for locals to communicate at good and fair prices MTN has enjoyed monopoly for years as they maintained high prices, too expensive for the average citizen; and talking about internet, the rates are overrated yet slow.

When Rwandatel appeared, they helped many Rwandans who couldn’t afford to communicate for the very first time on mobile phones but now, their vibe is trailing due to persistent internet and network breakdowns.

Rwandans are eager to tap into Tigo’s bag of promises; we expect that they will bring better services and maintain them throughout their reign in Rwanda.

Better still steep competition between the three telecom companies in Rwanda, will lead to improved services.

We appreciate all the work done by MTN and Rwandatel, but I strongly believe in healthy competition for better services.
