KAYONZA – Members of Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF) in Kayonza district have initiated an entrepreneurship programme that provides poor members with capital to start income generating projects.

According to Viateur Sinigenga, the party district permanent secretary, the idea was conceived at a recent party general assembly, held at Mukarange sector.

Sinigenga explained that the money will be raised from well off party members.

One of the main goals of the party is to end poverty in the society, which is why, all possible avenues are being explored, he said.

"We shall never slacken in our efforts to help Rwandans come out poverty. These are some of the primary cores of RPF,” he added.

The district vice Mayor in charge of Social Affairs, Anita Mutesi, the prime initiator of the program, said the idea is meant to uplift the vulnerable members of the party.
