Rwanda has gone a long way in making the country a hub of business opportunities by embracing ICT to bring in efficiency and reliability in all sectors.

I am grateful that Rwanda’s unique and friendly business environment and diverse investment opportunities has made the country an investment destination.

For the first time, I was impressed by the dependability that comes with ICT advancement.

Being a businessperson I liked the quick and dramatic transformation that comes with tax clearances when ICT is embraced.

This is very different five years ago when we had to spend hours looking through logbooks and long lists of names that correspond with items.

Today, business models across the globe are creating a global market open to free participation.

ICT increases access to market facilitates, sharing of information and improves the ease of participation.

Both domestic and international trades are vital for the economic growth of any country.

Many countries however, have not fully exploited their market opportunities due to use of old timeless protocol and procedures that discourage investment.

Investors are attracted to environments that promise the required business opportunities and quality delivery.

If all businesses and companies fully embraced ICT like the case is in Rwanda, everyone would have a smile on their faces and more money in their pockets.
