Mukeshimana completes move to Kayserispor in Turkey

Rayon Sports women’s football club forward Dorothée Mukeshimana has signed a one-year deal with Turkish second tier outfit Kayserispor.

Mukeshimana’s move to Kayserirspor after three successful seasons with Rayon Sports where she won two league titles and the Peace Cup among other trophies.

She is scheduled to fly to Turkey this coming week. She could start training with her new club on September 4 if her transfer documents are successfully complete in time.

Meanwhile, former Police FC attacking midfielder Jibrine Akuki has joined Al Ansar FC of Lebanon on a two-year contract.

Akuki became a free agent at the end of the 2024/25 season and he is among players that Police FC informed that their contracts wouldn’t be renewed after new head coach Ben Moussa said that they are not in his plans for the 2025/26 season.

The move comes as Al Ansar FC prepares to represent Lebanon in the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League.

Al Ansar is the most successful club in Lebanon with record 15 titles and 16 Lebanese FA Cups.
