Atraco members join RPF

MUHANGA – Members of the Association of Transporters (Atraco) in Muhanga district joined the RPF party and were immediately asked to be exemplary and spearhead the implementation of the government development programs. Beatrice Uwamahoro, the district secretary of Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF) made the request after the 10 Atraco people declared their allegiance to the ruling party.

MUHANGA – Members of the Association of Transporters (Atraco) in Muhanga district joined the RPF party and were immediately asked to be exemplary and spearhead the implementation of the government development programs.

Beatrice Uwamahoro, the district secretary of Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF) made the request after the 10 Atraco people declared their allegiance to the ruling party.

Uwamahoro also commended the transporters for their exemplary participation in the construction of classrooms to support the 9-year Basic Education program, and houses for the vulnerable residents.

The new members vowed to serve their country with integrity by working towards unity, security, justice and equality.

Samuel Hatangimana, the Atraco party special cell chairman, said the joining of new members brings the total to 165 members, adding that this was an achievement for the party.

Calling on party faithful to stick to party ideals, he urged the new members to act as ambassadors of the party.

During the same function, the group elected new committee members to fill vacant posts in the association party leadership.
