Silverbacks’ preparation for the Nakuru 7s has received a huge boost from Friends of Rwandan Rugby-one of Rwanda Rugby federation key partners.

According to Dave Hughes, a member of the Friends of Rwanda Rugby, the silverbacks have received training kit-jerseys and rugby balls to ease their preparations for the Nakuru 7s and next year’s possible tour to Honk Kong.

Silverbacks are currently locked in serious training in preparation for next week’s Nakuru 7s tournament in Kenyan.

Silverbacks stand in Coach Gerard Nsenga believes that the kit is a good contribution to the team.

"We appreciate the support and know that it will add a lot to our preparations.”

"With a good pitch, we can play better rugby,” Nsenga said.

The Silverbacks are fresh from Kampala where they reached the Bowl finals of the 2009 Hima-Mak 10s tournament.
