NSENGA Gerard has advised the local rugby federation (RRF) to find a full time coach for the national team-the Silverbacks ahead of a possible tour to Hong Kong next year.

The federation’s first vice president, who has also been acting as Silverbacks’ stand in coach believes that the team needs a well qualified coach who can transform the team.

" Right now, what the team needs is someone who is going to be there full time and devote all his efforts to making the team better and stronger,” Nsenga emphasized.

The official believes that with financial support from the Ministry of Sports and Culture (Minispoc), they can find a good coach in Uganda or Kenya.

Yesterday, the team regrouped at Rugunga for their first training session ahead of the Nakuru 7s. The event which is expected to attract some of the region’s top teams will run from November 26-28.
