Residents to contribute for 9-YBE

Nyaruguru district officials over the weekend held meeting aimed at discussing the way forward on the development of education sector in the district.

The officials proposed that each resident should at least Rwf200 in support of the construction of classrooms needed for the 9-year basic education programme.
Among other issues discussed was the winding up of Gacaca activities.

Rusizi discusses developments

The Rusizi district officials yesterday met residents of Nkombo sector to discuss future strategic plans that will spur development in the area.

AERG officials donate to orphans

The officials of the Association of Student Genocide Survivors (AERG) over the weekend visited 26 orphans at APUR secondary school in Nyabihu district and donated to them computers, books and sanitary facilities.

According to the AERG officials, the visit was aimed at supporting orphans in education and to make them feel that they have a family. 

NEC officials meet Nyamirambo advisory council

The electoral commission officials yesterday met the advisory council from all different cells in Nyamirambo sector, Nyarugenge district to brief them their roles in the upcoming Presidential polls.
