Rwanda otc market report, Week ended 6th November 2009

Equity Market This week ending, there was no transaction recorded at ROTC market. The KCB share price remained at Rwf 153. At the end of the session, 10,415 shares were on offer and no buyers. On the Nairobi Stock Exchange, KCB share price jumped to 19.95 Kshs (Rwf151) compared to the previous week when it hit a low of 19:50 Kshs (147 Rfw).

Equity Market

This week ending, there was no transaction recorded at ROTC market. The KCB share price remained at Rwf 153. At the end of the session, 10,415 shares were on offer and no buyers.

On the Nairobi Stock Exchange, KCB share price jumped to 19.95 Kshs (Rwf151) compared to the previous week when it hit a low of 19:50 Kshs (147 Rfw).

The volumes of transactions were slightly higher compared to the previous week.  At the close of business on Thursday, the NSE All share index went down -0.02 points to close at 67.52.

DSE (Dares Salaam Stock Exchange and USE (Uganda Securities Exchange) did not trade KCB shares during this week.

The Bond Market: On the bond market no transactions were recorded.

At the close of the business, Rwf 2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf 99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively.

There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50.
