I wish to congratulate the winner and current Miss Kigali,Cynthia Akazuba, and first runner up Annet Mahoro, a student at the National University of Rwanda for excelling in the Miss East Africa Rwanda Chapter.

I wish them all the best in the regional finals, and all I can ask them to do is to study about the East African community, its people and its history.

We must take the East African crown as well. If Alpha can, then so can you.
