League champion APR Fc consolidated their lead at the top of the national league table with a convincing 3-0 win over their archrivals of Kiyovu in a hotly contested league match played yesterday at Amahoro national stadium.

The military side scored all their goals in the second half through Abbas Rassou (77), Omar Hitimana (79) and a superb free kick from Haruna Niyonzima scored in 90th minute.

SC Kiyovu had a golden opportunity to take a halt time lead but goalkeeper Jean Luc Ndayishimiye saved Fuadi Ndayisenga penalty.

Elsewhere, Rayon Sport snatched an away victory against Marines at Umuganda stadium.

Peter Kagabo and Pappy Nkunda earned the victory for the Blues while Selemani Harelimana scored the consolation for the home side.

AS Kigali suffered their first loss of the season as they lost 0-1 to Electrogaz at Mumena stadium.

League action continues tomorrow when Atraco take on Police at Nyamirambo stadium. Etincelles hosts Mukura at Umuganda stadium while Musanze travels to Amagaju.
