Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel are highly interested Rwandan midfielder Hesbon Rutonesha on before the current transfer window closes.

Rutonesha became a free agent after his contract with Gorilla FC expired on June 30. He revealed that the Tunisia powerhouse Etoile du Sahel have made an approach for his signature.

"My agent told me there have been negotiations going on between him and Etoile du Sahel so we are waiting to see what happens," he told Times Sport.

Rutonesha, 23, has established himself among standout midfielders in the Rwanda Premier League during the 2024/25 season. He played 23 games and scored four goals and two assists.

He has also been linked with a move to Rayon Sports in the ongoing transfer window.
