Editor,
The lead story of yesterday’s publication was ‘FDLR will soon be history-Obasanjo. I was excited by the headline, but this excitement was quickly tempered by further reading.

What he meant was that the EU authorities would be counted on to drive the FDLR leaders away from their shores. I don’t know about you, but despite my respect for the former president, I don’t believe what the EU people told him.

Member states of the EU have had those criminals for years, and forgive me if I sound cynical; I think that they shall let the FDLR leaders stay there (in the EU) for many years to come.

Why? I still have no idea. I guess it’s because of some skewered agenda. I shall hold my breath.
