Singapore mission upgraded to embassy

KIGALI - Rwanda’s mission in Singapore will soon be upgraded from a diplomatic bureau to a fully-fledged embassy. This was revealed by Joseph Kabakeza, the Director General of Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. An ambassador is yet to be named for this mission.

KIGALI - Rwanda’s mission in Singapore will soon be upgraded from a diplomatic bureau to a fully-fledged embassy.

This was revealed by Joseph Kabakeza, the Director General of Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. An ambassador is yet to be named for this mission.

Similarly, Singapore has appointed Yatiman Yusof as its Non-Resident Ambassador to Rwanda.

Yusof, who is yet to present his credentials, is also Singapore’s Non-Resident High Commissioner to Kenya.

"A recent Cabinet meeting approved him but he is yet to present his credentials – he will be a non-resident ambassador, living in Singapore,” Kabakeza said.
