Title hopefuls Police FC will be targeting an away win ahead of their clash against Espoir FC in Rusizi on Sunday, November 20, hoping to reduce the gap at the top of the Rwanda Premier league table.

Head coach Vincent Mashami knows how tough Espoir are to beat, especially when they are playing at their own turf, but warned his players that only a victory remains their priority.

"We have to be consistent and give our best in every match because we need to win these kinds of matches to stay in the title race. Espoir are a very tricky team, so we need to be ready. I know they have been a major threat but we are ready,” the former Amavubi tactician said.

"It will be tough but our objective is to get three points no matter how tough they are. We will go into the game looking for nothing but a win,” he added.

A win on Sunday would see the law enforcers move to fourth on the league table with 17 points.

Police have never won a league title in their history. Their best achievement was finishing second during the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
