More than 10 artistes have been lined up to perform at the first-ever street basketball experience due in Kigali from July 19–20.

Dubbed "Kigali Streetball 2025 (KG Str Ball),” the event aims at presenting the country’s street culture, combining sports, music, art, and dance.

Organised by Murenzi Kamatari, a US-based Rwandan and former radio presenter, the two-day event will feature a wide range of activities including a 3x3 Basketball Tournament, Slam Dunk Contest, 3-Point Shootout, Main Stage Performances, Dance Competitions, Graffiti Art Exhibition – live mural painting by talented artists and Skateboarding Demonstrations among others.

Big names such as rappers Bulldog, Angell Umutoni, B-Threy and Bushali, and DJs Pyfo, Trizzie 96, Kavumbi, and Bisoso are among many headliners who will entertain street basketball lovers at Petit Stade gymnasium.

In addition to the basketball games, the event will feature Dunk Contests, Dance Battles, Rap and DJ Battles, and Graffiti Art competitions with a grand prize of Rwf4,300,000 up for grabs.
