The school holidays are here, and if you’re a parent, you already know the question that comes up every weekend: "What are we doing today?” Saturdays can feel endless when the kids are bouncing off the walls by 9am.
That’s exactly why Radisson Blu Kigali has come up with a Saturday plan that gives both kids and parents something to look forward to, and a break from the usual routine.
For children, there is a full set up every Saturday not just to keep them busy but to actually let them play, create and burn off some energy.
The activities start at 10am, and kids will be welcomed into a supervised zone where they can swim, play mini basketball or football, bounce on trampolines, and enjoy a bouncy castle.
There will also be face painting for those who love a bit of colour, and quiet corners where they can sit down with a brush and paint and make some art.
Somewhere in the middle of all the action, they’ll break for lunch with a kid-friendly buffet and some time to just hang out and make new friends; it goes on until 4pm.
While they’re busy, parents and adults can head over to the Piazza Terrace from 10am to noon, where there’s an outdoor aerobics session led by a professional trainer.
The cost for the full day of kids’ activities is Rwf 35,000 per child, but if your little one is four years old or younger, you only pay half — which is a welcome break for parents with toddlers in tow.
As for the aerobics session, it’s priced at Rwf10,000 per adult, and includes two hours of movement, fresh air, and motivation.
If this sounds like something your family would enjoy, booking is simple: just call +250 727000071 to reserve a spot for your child, or +250 737078427 if you want to join the workout session yourself.
