On Saturday, B-Club was jam-packed to capacity by club goers who, came from all corners of Kigali to witness Uganda’s hottest music group perform.

Obsessions’ are not regular guest performers in the country, at least not like the likes of Jose Chameleon, but the ‘Jangu’ singers successfully pulled off a large crowd, not to mention a huge fan base.

The show was supposed to kick off at midnight, but delayed for over two more hours, though Uganda’s DJ Cryster and local DJ Kagz entertained the crowd and managed to keep them dancing.

Sported cat-woman attire and wiggling grooves, the Obsessions stormed the stage and immediately proved to the crowd what they are good at. They made the crowd so excited at one time revelers were restrained from joining the trio on stage.

They begun the show with ‘trouble’ and followed it up with ‘Simuwa’ which has some verses in Kinyarwanda. However their track ‘Jangu’ was the main highlight.

The crowd sang along in chorus and danced just like the girls on stage. They wrapped up the show with ‘Mwekute’ after performing six songs.

"B Club organizes the East African Bash every fourth Friday of the month where musicians from the region feature” said Remi Lubega, B Clubs’ Marketing Manager.

He’s also one of the founding members of Obsessions. Earlier, Obsessions had performed at the MTN-Ericsson Golf Tournament in Nyarutarama.

Originally, Obsessions was a large group of boys and girls. This time round only three girls; Jackie Tusiime, Sheba Karungi and Sharon Salmon made it to Kigali.
