Miss E .A Rwandan chapter training kicks off

Out of the 45 contestants, who have been under going screening to contest for Miss East Africa Rwandan chapter, at least 15 best performers have been selected to start trainings, at Royale Villas hotel, in Nyarutarama. The CEO Rwanda Events Chris Gakwaya said the 15 contestants will undergo one week training for preparation of the final event slated for October 31, at Serena hotel.

Out of the 45 contestants, who have been under going screening to contest for Miss East Africa Rwandan chapter, at least 15 best performers have been selected to start trainings, at Royale Villas hotel, in Nyarutarama.

The CEO Rwanda Events Chris Gakwaya said the 15 contestants will undergo one week training for preparation of the final event slated for October 31, at Serena hotel.

Rwanda Events is a local company contracted by Rena a Tanzanian company to organize Rwandan contestants for Miss East Africa beauty contest, slated for December.
 "Monday we shall start training the best 15 of the 45 contestants for a week,” Gakwaya said.

The top 15 include; Miss Kigali Cynthia Akazuba and Miss RTUC Margaret Uwera.

The contest will aim at selecting the best two beauty queens to represent Rwanda at the Miss East Africa beauty contest.

One to be crowned Miss E.A Rwandan chapter will walk away with the prize of Rwf1 million, and runner-up Rwf500, 000.

Meanwhile, Gakwaya pointed out that to ensure that Rwandan contestants compete effectively at the Miss E.A beauty contest, the October 31 event will ruled by foreign judges.
