Last week, the commission screened Genocide movies to inmates in Gitarama prison and residents of Muhanga District, at Gitarama stadium.

According to CNLG officials, the movies are intended to educate the community on the causes and effects of Genocide and help Rwandans to stand up against the Genocide ideology.

Reports indicate that the Southern Province has more of Genocide cases. And this campaign is expected to impact on the mindset of many residents.

The commission has also launched similar campaigns in schools, which is aimed at helping students to contribute to the fight against this vice.
