Midfielder Maxwell Arthur is close to joining Mukura Victory Sports as the Huye-based club hopes to add more quality to its squad.

Arthur, 24, is a former vice-captain of Ghana U20 national team and, at club level, he captained Dreams FC.

He was previously courted by Finnish side RoPS FC but the deal fell through. He became a free agent after his contract with Aduana Stars expired last season.

Meanwhile, Amagaju FC have acquired forward Desire Iradukunda from Burundian outfit Ngozi City on a 2-year deal. He is expected to fill the shoes of Ciza Seraphin who is linked to a move to Rayon Sports.

Elsewhere, winger Samuel Pimpong has returned to Mukura Victory Sports on a one-year deal after ending his short stint with Albanian outfit FC Shiroka.

The Ghanaian winger was courted by Rayon Sports be opted to return to the Huye-based Yellow and Black side.
