MOH donates condoms

In an effort to fight against HIV/AIDS the district of Rulindo has received a consignment of condoms from the Ministry of Health.

Speaking to the residents, the Minister of Health, Dr. Richard Sezibera reminded them the importance of condom use and urged the residents to ignore the negative rhetoric that some individual have uttered on the use of condoms. 

Youths, local defense in community work

The youth association in Kimisagara cell in Nyarugenge district, in conjunction with the Local defence personnel over the weekend engaged in community work, to clear the area around the Kimisagara primary school for the construction of the classrooms needed for the 9-year basic education.

RPF members celebrate in Rurenge

Rwanda Patriotic Front party members in Rurenge sector, in Ngoma district, over the weekend held celebrations to mark their achievements since 2003.

Among the achievements celebrated was the construction of terraces which have impacted positively on farming in the area.

District commissions classrooms

Bugesera district over the weekend commissioned four classroom blocs constructed with the help of African Evangelistic Enterprise (AEE) at Groupe Scholaire primary school.

The classrooms are needed for the 9-Year Basic Education. They were valued at Rwf 104 m.

Bugesera strikes partnership

Bugesera district officials over the weekend concluded a 2-day meeting with Busone district of Burundi. The meeting centered around ways of improving business between the two districts.

Julius Rukundo, the acting mayor of Bugesera said that the meeting was also aimed strengthening relationship between the two districts and finding ways of fighting smuggling.
