The National women under-20 team coach Grace Nyinawumuntu is very positive of her of her team’s chances of winning Saturday’s world cup qualifier against Uganda after the junior women side thrashed Inyemera in a warm up game.

Strikers Nirere Anatholie and Aimee Flora Tuziyere, who both play for APR scored in the 30th and 42nd minutes to put the under-20 side in front after wasting a handful of chances in first twenty minutes of the game, which played in Gicumbi on Saturday.

Inyemera pulled a goal back quickly through their captain Anne Mbonimpa, but Dada Umutoni restored the national side’s two goal advantage after her long shot was deflected in to the net.

After the match Nyinawumuntu said she was satisfied with the team’s performance and ruled out any more build-up matches for the team.

The junior women team is scheduled to leave on Thursday for Kampala, where they will play the She-Cranes in their 2011 World Cup preliminary round first leg on Saturday afternoon at Nakivubo.
