Before he went for a sabbatical, Ntagwabira had won; four league titles, three Amahoro Cups and one Cecafa title with APR.

Boosted by a youthful squad with a mixture of experienced players like Bonaventure Hategikimana, Eric Serugaba, Shyaka Jean, Karim Nizigiyimana, Donatien Tuyizere, Pappy Nkunda and Ndayisenga, Ntagwabira said yesterday that he believes the squad will compete to win many trophies this season.

Elsewhere, Rayon Sport earned a slim 1-0 victory over Electrogaz at Nyamirambo stadium. New Signing Peter Kagabo’s 15th-minute strike earned the Blues maximum points.
