Sharon Mbabazi is the Guest-selections manager at Orange Courts hotel in Kacyiru. She is therefore in charge of taking-up decisions aimed at wining more customers for the hotel based on service provision. Below, she tells us her typical day of work;

I wake-up at 6a.m and have a prayer. I take a shower and organize to leave for work.

By 7:45a.m, I leave for work from Kimihurura taking me about 15 minutes to the work place.

The first thing I do upon my arrival at work is to check the list of guests to find how many clients we have in the rooms.

This helps me to make appropriate determination of the guests` breakfast.

After, I rotate to inspect different departments to ensure that services are provided the best way possible.

However, concentration is also put in the stores department. This is because it determines the kitchens` quality and quantity work.

I normally have lunch at around 3p.m.

I then sit down to check if there are certain mails for booking and respond if any. I normally work until 7p.m although sometimes work goes up to midnight like on Fridays.

However, I am always at home by 9p.m during other week days. I watch movies at home, associate with the family members as I make a reflection of the day.

That is the same time I have my supper, have a quiet moment with God before I get to bed mostly at 11p.m.
