Thirty-Five youths from different sectors of Kayonza district, were yesterday given training in Special Olympics games.

The three-day work shop was conducted by Rwandan specialists in the Olympic Games. One of the trainers, Sylidio Semanda explained the dynamics involved in the games.

"It is a program of competitive sports events fashioned after the Olympic Games, and intended for mentally challenged athletes. Special Olympics want everyone to feel special,” he said.
