South African disc jockey and media personality Blue Aiva is expected in Kigali for the second edition of the ‘Improper Access’ concert, scheduled for June 28 at Zaria Court.
Best known for her participation in Big Brother Titans—a joint South African and Nigerian edition of the Big Brother franchise—Blue Aiva will be joined by Ugandan star Etania, along with Rwanda’s DJs Niny and Higa, with Miss Muyango and Zuba Mutesi as the host of the night.

Organized by Blackout Inc., Improper Access is an annual concert series that last took place at Kigali Universe in August 2024.
Bruce Manzi, one of the event’s organizers, told The New Times that Blue Aiva is among Africa’s rising Amapiano stars, which made her an ideal choice for headliner of this year’s edition.
"This year’s edition is very special not only to Blackout but to Rwandan music in general,” Manzi said.
"The lineup is made up entirely of women, and this reflects the growing inclusivity in the music sector—something truly worth celebrating. Let’s all come in big numbers and celebrate womanhood in our growing pop culture,” he added.
