A security meeting in Nyagatare district has recommended that activities of traditional healers in the district be banned.

The decision was reached at after the death of a 49-year old man after a result of poor medical prescription by one traditional healer, Therese Kabanyana.

Burglars break into Ubudehe stores 

Police is searching for burglars who broke into Ubudehe stores in Nyarunazi village in Gisagara district and stole over 200kgs of beans.

Sources have revealed that Claudine Uwizeye, who was responsible for the stores, had gone to visit her relatives and left her 14 yr-old in charge.

Student killed, dumped at NUR entry

A second year student who has been missing for a month was found dead at the main gate of Rwanda National University in Huye district on Tuesday.
Police is still investigating the death. 

Six held in police custody over murder case

Police in Rutsiro district is holding six suspects in connection with the murder of a 25-year old man only identified as Ntuwibazwa,a resident of Isure cell.
