RWANDA football federation, Ferwafa has left top division sides frustrated after delaying to release the fixtures for the coming season.

Just two days before Saturday’s opening fixtures, Ferwafa is yet to reveal the fixtures for the league although they blame the delay on Rwanda’s World Cup qualifier against Algeria and those clubs that delayed to hand in their squad lists for next season.

According to the football body, APR, Etincelles and Marines had not submitted in their team lists after the transfer window which closed on last Monday.

APR snatched the 2008/09 league title from Atraco’s grip. The army-side beat Atraco on goal difference in what still stands out as one of the most dramatic finishes in league history.

The title was APR’s tenth and proclaims them as the giants of Rwandan football.
