Miss E.A Rwandan Chapter to cost Rwf.37m

The CEO of Rwanda Events, Chris Gakwaya has confirmed that the preparations for Miss East Africa-Rwandan Chapter will cost about Rwf37 million. At least 15 contestants will be trained for the final event, scheduled to take place in October 31, at Kigali Serena hotel.

The CEO of Rwanda Events, Chris Gakwaya has confirmed that the preparations for Miss East Africa-Rwandan Chapter will cost about Rwf37 million.

At least 15 contestants will be trained for the final event, scheduled to take place in October 31, at Kigali Serena hotel. 

According to Gakwaya, costs will include makeup, outfits, and transport.

He added that the event will be systematically organized so as to allow the public to participate in chosing the best contestants.

"The public will vote online, by sms, and radio,” Gakwaya said in a press conference held at Orange Courts hotel in Kacyiru.

The grand finale for Miss East African beauty contest is slated for December, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzanian.
