TPF winner, Alpha’s homecoming party

October 11, was another memorable day in the life of Rwanda’s latest superstar. Alpha Rwirangira got back home to overwhelming support from Rwandans. His fans anxiously waited with a bated breath, clutching flowers and posters, to welcome him home from the just concluded Tusker Project Fame (TPF) competition.

October 11, was another memorable day in the life of Rwanda’s latest superstar. Alpha Rwirangira got back home to overwhelming support from Rwandans.

His fans anxiously waited with a bated breath, clutching flowers and posters, to welcome him home from the just concluded Tusker Project Fame (TPF) competition.

Alpha’s homecoming party at the Amahoro Stadium, attracted Rwanda’s who is who, including ministers Joseph Habineza, Louise Mushikiwabo, Protais Mitali and Monique Nsanzabaganwa.

Kigali Mayor Dr. Aisa Kirabo, Vice-Mayor in charge of Social Affairs, Jeanne d’Arc Gakuba, and Prosecutor General Martin Ngoga also attended.

Among the local artists, Meddy, Miss JoJo, The Ben, Sgt. Robert and Masamba did not miss out. Alpha was in the company of his two fellow musicians, who participated, Christian and Nina.

Alpha is the third winner of East African’s premier talent competition, following Uganda’s Esther Nabaasta Mugizi and Kenya’s Valerie Kimani respectively.
