Champions APR FC, Etincelles and Marines are in danger of being punished by the National football federation (Ferwafa) after failing to beat the deadline of submitting their respective squads they will use during the league campaign, which kicks off Saturday.

All clubs were supposed to have submitted the list of players that they will use in the league, by Friday, October 9. But APR, Etincelles and Marines had not done so yesterday, clearly contravening Ferwafa regulations.

Ferwafa vice president, Vedaste Kayiranga concurred that the federation will meet today and decides on the appriopate course of action to take against the three clubs.

"They (APR, Etincelles and Marines) are the only ones who have not yet submitted their lists of players,” Kayiranga said.

By Press time, officials from the three clubs were unavailable for comment. Etincelles and Musanze were the teams that were promoted from the second division.
