RWANDA football body, Ferwafa has set this evening as the official deadline for clubs to wrap up their player transfers ahead of next season which kicks off next Saturday.

Initially, the transfer window was set for October 5 but was later postponed to give clubs more time to hold trials for their targets.

Ten-time league champion APR and Atraco FC went into the final day of last season both having a chance to win the league, but it was the military side who had the last laugh.

The nine-time league champions pulled off a 2-0 win over Mukura to add a tenth league title to their already adorned trophy shelf while the then defending champions Atraco were shockingly held to a goalless draw by Marine.

The draw meant that Sam Timbe’s dreams of an unprecedented treble had been blown out of the window.
