…think that they are important because they are rich.
Just when I was starting to develop some love, I read about some two ‘wealthy’ people who negotiated their way into B-Club despite being on the wrong side of the club’s dress code. The New Times reported the story in its Monday 28, September edition. Wealth is nothing if one has no ethics and the due humility.

Pleading to be allowed to enter the club because one is wealthy was a very cheap stunt and I hate these guys accordingly. Sandals are not the kind of things to wear to the club and these fellows ought to be aware of this. 

…treat customers discriminatively. The incident that happened at B-club goes on to draw my extreme anger towards the club’s managers who were reported to have allowed two ‘wealthy’ men despite their peasant dress code.

These so called wealthy men wore sandals to the club. At the club we are all equal and therefore the rules on dress code should be applied evenly.

It’s a shame that B-Club’s management could bend their rules for these indecently dressed fellows.

They let them mingle with nicely dressed people making some of us hate the club. I hate those guys at the entrance most. This was stooping so low for people who paid the same entrance fees as the rest of us.    

…suddenly answer their phones in the middle of a conversation.
I think it’s high time the school curriculum included something on phone etiquette. If not then police should be allowed to confiscate phones belonging to ill mannered fellows.

Do you know these guys who during a conversation with you suddenly answer their phones without even asking to be excused?

At first you even think it is you they are talking to but later realise it is someone else. It is even worse when one is using a hands-free phone.

It costs nothing to say, "Excuse me” just before you pick up the phone yet it is s rude when you don’t. I wish MTN and Rwandatel could charge different (high) rates for these fools.  

…are foolishly snobbish.
 I always laugh before I can hate these part time thinkers. I am talking about all those people in the habit of buying so many things from Nakumatt or Simba supermarkets yet they have no private transport to take them home.

In the end they inconvenience other descent citizens who use public transport all in the bid of showing off their ‘classy’ shopping habit.

Why not buy a few (portable) things each time you are in town or simply buy from the grocery store closer to your home?

As The Hater, I pray that your envelope tears and your shopping rolls into a busy road.

…always borrow and don’t return.
Common sense is really not common at all. We are now in a rainy season and sometimes we get caught up on the wrong side of the weather.

My problem now is those people who may be caught by the rain and compelled to borrow a jacket or umbrella from a friend or colleague. I particularly hate those who never return what they borrowed.

And therefore I wish to remind that guy whom I lent my sweater during last year’s rains that I have not forgotten. Please, return it for I am not a donor organisation. For the time being I will continue hating you.
