The incoming Director of Rwanda Initiative for Sustainable Development (RISD), Nathan Gasatura, has urged Rwandans to search for solutions to the problems facing the country in pursuit of development.

Gatasura was speaking at Laico Umubano during a dinner organised to welcome him and also bid farewell to his predecessor, Richard Murigande, who has been at the helm of the organisation for the past seven years.

Gatasura noted that RISD is at the forefront in advocating for land reforms as one way of promoting and advocating for social and economic transformation in Rwanda.

He promised to champion the vision of RISD where all citizens are in charge of their own destinies and with social accountability.
