Marines FC head coach Yves Rwasamanzi is optimistic that his side can survive relegation and a win against Rutsiro FC on Tuesday at Umuganda Stadium will decide their fate.

Marines beat Musanze FC 3-0 at Ubworoherane Stadium over the weekend, a result that moved them to 10th on the table.

Rwasamanzi said that the players are now motivated and ready to get the job done as a win over Rutsiro would guarantee them topflight football status

"We are in good mood and players are hungry to win again so we are ready for the challenge, and we want three points which can increase our chances of staying in the top tier league,” he said.

Marines, however, have a tough custom in Rutsiro who sit seventh with 37 points.

In other matches, Gorilla FC will face Gosogi United at Kigali Pele Stadium.
