RWANDA’S professional golfers will be at it again when they compete in the two-day Entebbe Golf Open this weekend.

Emmanuel Ruterana and Jean Baptist Hakizimana are part of ten professionals expected to grace the Rwf1.5m which tees off this Saturday at Entebbe’s Par-70 golf course.

In a phone interview with Times Sport, Ruterana who has not played serious golf in over a month said that he is eager to sharpen his game ahead of the Rwanda Open. 

"It’s good to get some tournaments under my belt before the Rwanda Open,” Ruterana, who is on the verge of sealing a lucrative sponsorship deal with Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) noted.

He also pointed out the Ugandan pair of Deo Akope and Godfrey Mande as his key challengers.
