APR and Kiyovu progressed to the Pre-season final after wining their respective semi-final ties yesterday.

The defending league champions thrashed Amagaju 3-0 at Amahoro while Kiyovu downed Etincelles 2-0 at Nyamirambo stadium.

APR’s midfielder Jean Mugiraneza ‘Migi’ scored a brace before Abbas Rassou added a third, his second goal in as many games. Haruna Niyonzima had a hand in all the three goals.

At Nyamirambo, SC Kiyovu gave their fans something to smile about. Rodriquez Mapuwa opened the scoring on the 22nd minute while Cassim Hassan added a second, ten minutes into the second half.

Amagaju will now play Etincelles in the third place playoff this Thursday.

Tournament sponsors Ministry of Sports and Culture (Minispoc) have staked Rwf5m for the winner while the first, second and third runners up get to pocket Rwf3m, Rwf1.5m and Rwf1m respectively.
