Nakumatt must restrict who buys what!

Editor,

I write this letter as a plea to Nakumatt – one of the biggest chain supermarkets in the region. First I will commend you for the great work you are doing as regards spoiling customers for choice.

Good work! My complaint however, is that young people are beginning to access information that many of us could regard as pornographic material.

To be specific, there is a section in the supermarket where some books with this kind of information are displayed.

On several occasions, I have come across excited students trying to share ideas on how and whether or not they should purchase these books.

To make matters worse, the supermarket management has put up a poster right next to the books "Buy two and get one free!”

This material is only meant for adults and my request is that, there should be a form of restriction for the under-aged.

My suggestion is that maybe a different section be created and buyers be in position to show identification on purchase. Otherwise thank you for the great work and good customer service.
