EDITORIAL : Reading for fun

One thing I have noticed is that so many children have so much material to read however, they lack the initiative to do so. With young, fresh minds children should step forth and make use of all the unexplored skills they have in reading in writing. The more you read the better it gets.

One thing I have noticed is that so many children have so much material to read however, they lack the initiative to do so.

With young, fresh minds children should step forth and make use of all the unexplored skills they have in reading in writing. The more you read the better it gets.

At the end of the day, you build and discover a hobby that is so interesting.
Children who read widely have insight on different topics and experiences that are happening around the world.

The truth is that no single person can travel all corners of the world during their life time. It is through reading that they get to know how unique different cultures are around the world.
When it comes to writing, the skill has to be developed through practice. The more you write, the better your hand-writing gets. Besides, writing goes hand in hand with reading.

Whatever knowledge you discover through reading you have to share it through writing so that it does not remain with you. This is how knowledge is passed on from generation to generation.

For fun, you can form book clubs. With friends you can choose a book and start reading it together as you discuss different plots in the book.

If all children made reading a hobby, they would discover new things about everything, your minds would explore what you have never known before and it will be extreme fun. If this happens then young readers would become knowledgeable and better writers of the future.
